SHOW 1 – SATURDAY 9 NOVEMBER – Time: 11H15 – Beaulieu Studio

Duration of show –1hr40min

This show is filled with excitement and fun and we are sure that the audience will be thoroughly entertained!

The audience will watch 6 short scripted plays.

Our cute little Grade 0 performers open the show with a delightful play called It’s Storybook Time!

This is a perfect introduction to our next play, The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.

“There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, she had so many children, she didn’t know what to do”. This well-known nursery rhyme is given a twist when the Old Woman’s children turn out to be very badly behaved and she is unable to get any work done. She decides to hire a housekeeper to assist her with the children. The housekeeper is extremely strict, and the children decide to take things into their own hands.

Next up we go to the School for Superheroes.

It’s the first day back at Superhero School and we soon hear that the Inspector is coming over for an inspection. Everyone needs to relearn their school motto, but Mr Meanie has sent two villains to sabotage the motto so that the Inspector closes the school down. Will the Superheroes overcome this obstacle?

Next we board a pirate ship. Pirate Joe is the name of the play and the name of the mean captain who makes the shipmates work hard all day. This leads the hearty crew to plan their revenge.

We are sent on a time traveling whirlwind with the play A Trip in Time!

Miss Tick’s class is going on a school trip to the Science Museum.

Silver, Spike and Silver have been left behind, while cleaning an old Desk they activate a time machine and they are transported back in time.

We end off the show with a fabulous 1920’s play called Murder at Mornington Manor.

Penelope Spencer-Wells is celebrating her 21st birthday with a big party. There is food and champagne and lots of very special guests. Many secrets are hidden behind the stiff upper lip facades of the hosts and guests. Then Reggie Harper, the local newspaper reporter, turns up uninvited…
