SHOW 4 – SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER – Time: 17H15

(Curro Sagewood and Irene Primary)

Duration of show – 1 hour

Our performers can’t wait to entertain you with their fabulous show!

The audience will watch 4 short scripted plays and we are sure that they will be thoroughly entertained!

The show opens with a delightful play called  The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.

“There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, she had so many children, she didn’t know what to do”. This well-known nursery rhyme is given a twist when the Old Woman’s children turn out to be very badly behaved and she is unable to get any work done. She decides to hire a housekeeper to assist her with the children. The housekeeper is extremely strict, and the children decide to take things into their own hands.

Next up we go to a School for Superheroes.

It’s the first day back at Superhero School and we soon hear that the Inspector is coming over for an inspection. Everyone needs to relearn their school motto, but Mr Meanie has sent two villains to sabotage the motto so that the Inspector closes the school down. Will the Superheroes overcome this obstacle?

Our next play takes place on board a pirate ship.

Pirate Joe is the name of the play and the name of the mean captain who makes the shipmates work hard all day.

This leads the hearty crew to plan their revenge.

We end off the show with Circus Capers– YES! The circus is in town! Unfortunately, the performers are bored and unmotivated, and the audience is sparse. The Ringmaster blames the performances and they all blame him. No one will take responsibility. During their preparations for the evening’s performance, it emerges Rudolpho, the lion tamer, has, once again, forgotten to lock the lion’s cage. Will they learn to work together to capture the wild animal in time for the show?
