The audience will watch 4 short scripted plays PLUS a monologue and prose piece performed by one of our talented Youth Theatre students! This is going to be epic!
The show opens with a delightful play called The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.
There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, she had so many children, she didn’t know what to do”. This well-known nursery rhyme is given a twist when the Old Woman’s children turn out to be very badly behaved and she is unable to get any work done. She decides to hire a housekeeper to assist her with the children. The housekeeper is extremely strict, and the children decide to take things into their own hands.
Next up we go to a School for Superheroes.
It’s the first day back at Superhero School and we soon hear that the Inspector is coming over for an inspection. Everyone needs to relearn their school motto, but Mr Meanie has sent two villains to sabotage the motto so that the Inspector closes the school down. Will the Superheroes overcome this obstacle?
We are sent on a time traveling whirlwind with the play A Trip in Time!
Miss Tick’s class is going on a school trip to the Science Museum.
Silver, Spike and Silver have been left behind, while cleaning an old
Desk they activate a time machine and they are transported back
We end off the show with a fabulous 1920’s Murder Mystery called Murder at Mornington Manor.
Penelope Spencer-Wells is celebrating her 21st birthday with a big party. There is food and champagne and lots of very special guests. Many secrets are hidden behind the stiff upper lip facades of the hosts and guests. Then Reggie Harper, the local newspaper reporter turns up uninvited…
